Tracy Village Football Club Support Personnel - Volunteers
Volunteers are the backbone of all amateur sporting clubs. The social and emotional benefits of volunteering are well documented and include positive aspects of social interaction as well as feelings of inclusion, self worth and satisfaction. The Tracy Village Football Club recognises that our volunteers have a wide range of skills, responsibilities and knowledge. This range of abilities is beneficial to both the volunteer and the club in that the volunteer can commit their services to a level to which they feel comfortable, whilst the club benefits from the receipt of these services. The key to this win/win scenario is having a pool of volunteers deep enough to cover all the activities that constitute the operating of a football club. To that end, the Tracy Village Football Club aims to attract a large pool of volunteers to facilitate the running of the club and also, more importantly, to eliminate volunteer burnout by incorporating the 'many hands make light work' philosophy. So, if you have read this far, we are hopeful that you are interested, if so, please contact the committee.
